Join Nancy Benerofe in this entryway course into the realm of Knew Geometry. This course is for families and kids, and contains 12 instructional videos plus 2 bonus videos. Lessons are designed to introduce the basic principles and the art and craft of Knew Geometry. Creatively exploring the Platonic solids in 2D and 3D, students will learn to draw 2D blueprints with compass and straightedge and build 3D models. Included are printable worksheets to help develop the skill of recognizing forms from different perspectives —a practice at the core of Knew Geometry. While the Platonic solids hold appeal for students of all ages, younger students may need some support, and older students may move quickly, especially through the early videos; different learners will relate to and understand the information and forms accordingly. The artistic piece meets each individual exactly where they are, inspiring their unique creativity throughout this exploration.
