Masterclass Summary
This Masterclass offering focuses on drawing the Geometry of the Fourth Dimension. We will draw forms that are analogous to the 5 platonic solids of the 3rd dimension. These are called the 5-cell (tetrahedron), 8-cell (cube), 16-cell (octahedron), 120-cell (dodecahedron), and 600-cell (icosahedron). In addition we will draw the 24-cell which is does not have platonic solid analogue, yet is regular in the 4th dimension and is analogous to a pair of irregular solids (cubeoctahedron and rhombic dodecahedron). We will draw each from different orthographic perspectives when applicable (2, 3, and 5-fold symmetry), and discuss how each form contains other forms referred to as cells. In each drawing we will look deep into each form to discover how each cell is depicted in the drawing, which is a very mind expanding activity!
These 4th dimensional forms will deepen your understanding of the pattern language of Sacred geometry while mastering Knew Geometry's creative discovery process, methods, and techniques used to draw these enchantingly beautiful forms.
MASTERCLASS focus
These 4-d forms have a range of drawings that are suitable for intermediate and advanced geometers. Although, the first few drawings are suitable for a beginner as the forms range form relatively simple to and increase in complexity as the lessons progress. With practice a beginner could be progress through the course, although staring with other courses here may provide a better foundation to work from.
